SUPER TOUR CHAMPIONSHIP TEMPORARILY CHANGES NAME TO “QUEEN OF THE TOUR”

The first double-header weekend of the 2026 Super Tour King of the Tour Championship took place a couple of weeks ago, and we now have the first official standings for the new combined championship format. One last name clearly stands out at the top: Ballabey.

Second-generation racer Noémie Ballabey currently leads the standings after an impressive opening weekend in Footbrake. With a runner-up finish in Race #2 and a semi-final appearance in Race #1, she has built a 400-point lead over her closest rival.

Right behind her is her father, André Ballabey, winner of Super Pro Race #1 with his new-to-him Top Sportsman Camaro. In third place is Eric Monaghan, winner of Race #1 in Footbrake. Defending Super Pro champion Brandon Barker sits in the number four spot after winning Race #2 in Super Pro.

He is followed by Most Improved Racer candidate Sasha Leblanc, who was the runner-up in Race #1 in Footbrake. The number six position belongs to Carl Soucy, who reached the quarter-finals in Race #1. Don Vincelli holds the seventh spot after a semi-final finish, also in Race #1. Two-time champion Phil Harvey appears in eighth place thanks to a quarter-final finish in Race #2. Stephan Ballantyne and Frank Angers complete the Top 10 with solid performances in both races.

That being said, the current Top 10 is made up of five dragster racers, four Footbrake racers, and only one Door Car racer, which should make things very interesting heading into the next double-header event. The Summer Bracket Nationals, presented by Ogilvie Performance in collaboration with J&S Collision and Clarmo Auto Repair, will be held on the first weekend of July at Luskville Dragway.

With only 1,000 points, less than four winning rounds, separating the number one spot from the number ten position, the championship battle is already shaping up to be exciting.

Stay tuned for more Super Tour action over the next couple of months!
