The PARA Performance Canadian Bracket Finals, part of the Super Tour Bracket Series, was held last weekend at Napierville Dragway. Presented by Frank Mastro L’électricien and S.M. Transport, the season-ending event attracted 130 entries across Super Pro, Footbrake, and Junior categories.
Friday night’s action began with the Super Pro Gamblers but was halted by rain just as racers were staged for Round 1.
THE PHIL HARVEY SHOW
Racing resumed on Saturday with the $10,000-to-win Super Pro Main Event. By the semifinals, former Super Tour Champion Phil Harvey held two spots in the final four with his Miller Dragster. He first eliminated Patrick Forget from Drummondville, then came up short to Daniel Lanctôtt from St-Eustache, preventing him from running himself in the finals. In the final round matchup against Lanctôt, Harvey prevailed with a .005 light and a .010-over, while Lanctot broke out with a 5.527 on his 5.54 dial.
In Footbrake, Cyrille Laflamme from Terrebonne drove his Camaro to the winner’s circle, edging out points contender Stephan Ballantyne. Both racers were nearly identical at the tree and .010 over their dials, with Laflamme taking the stripe by just .0006.

Friday’s postponed Gamblers also wrapped up on Saturday evening. In Super Pro, Fred Angers from Laval defeated Adam Bitzanis from Montreal in an all-dragster final, while in Footbrake, Pat Proulx from Lacolle got past Martin Patry from Quebec City in an all-Fox Body Mustang matchup.

BRACKET LIFE PODCAST FINAL ROUND
Sunday’s $5,000-to-win Super Pro event set up a fitting finale between Bracket Life Podcast co-hosts Brandon Barker from Smiths Falls, Ontario, and Andrew Stirk from Amaranth, Ontario. Stirk grabbed the win with a .001 reaction and a .012 margin at the finish line over Barker’s .014 light. In the semifinals, Barker stopped Dominic Cianciarelli, while Stirk advanced on a bye.
In Footbrake, Stephen Ballantyne reached yet another final but turned it red by just .001, giving the win to Alain Marois from Drummondville in his Mustang.

TWO FINAL ROUNDS FOR PARKER SEGUIN
The Junior category was all about reigning and back-to-back champion Parker Seguin of North Bay, who reached the final on both days. On Saturday, Annabelle Soucy of Gatineau claimed the win, while on Sunday Jacob Biron from New Hampshire edged Seguin in a tight finish after Seguin left first but gave back the stripe.

CHAMPIONS TO BE CROWNED
With points still being finalized, the 2025 Super Tour Champions will be officially announced later this week.
