REIGNING CHAMP BARKER ON HIS WAY TO DEFEND HIS TITLE

After seven rounds of the 2025 Super Tour National Championship, we are heading into the final stretch of the season, with races eight and nine out of a total of eleven set to take place in the next couple of weeks at Luskville Dragway.

Defending Dragster Champion Brandon Barker from Smiths Falls, Ontario, is once again leading the way with strong performances at the last event, scoring both a win and a runner-up finish in Saturday’s and Sunday’s races. He holds a 400-point lead over former champion Phil Harvey from St-Calixte, Quebec. Third place is currently occupied by Allan Ray from Belleville, Ontario, who is only 100 points behind Harvey. Following Ray, four racers, Frank Angers, Larry Lépine Jr., Darren Frasso and Landyn Urslak, are all tied, sitting 600 points behind the current leader. Things are sure to get interesting in the coming weeks.

In the Footbrake category, Martin Patry from Quebec City remains on top, just 200 points ahead of the “Red Hot” Stephen Ballantyne from Luskville. Darryl Jensen and Martin Lassiseraye are tied, 400 points back from the lead, while newcomer Patrick Proulx rounds out the Top 5.

The Junior class is led by reigning champ Parker Seguin from North Bay, holding an impressive 1,400-point advantage over his closest challenger, Mavrick Angers from Laval. Parker’s sister Shelbie, along with Julia Malcolm and cousin Cole Krottner, complete the Top 5.

The next Super Tour race will be presented by Speedy Auto Gatineau in collaboration with KD Transmissions and Honeywell Works, taking place August 29 to 31.
