After 11 Tour races, hundred of miles travelled, and a season of tight finishes and championship pressure, the 2026 Super Tour Drag Racing Series has crowned its King of the Tour and the 12 racers who earned a place among the championship’s best.
The championship brought together Super Pro racers, including Dragsters and Door Cars and Footbrake racers in one overall points chase. The official final standings show just how close the competition became: only 1,300 points separated second from eighth place.
Over $15,000 in championship payouts will be distributed among the Top 12. In addition to his $5,000 championship prize, King of the Tour Frank Angers will receive a complete Carlyle Tools tool kit.

#1 — FRANK ANGERS — 2026 KING OF THE TOUR
Dragster | Laval, QC | 10,500 points | $5,000
Frank Angers put together the most complete season of anyone on the Tour and finished the year with 10,500 points, a full 1,000 points ahead of second place. Driving his 2022 Diamond Dragster, Angers was remarkably consistent, scoring 900 points or more in eight of the 11 Tour races and delivering some of his biggest performances when they mattered most. He also showed his strength outside the championship races, winning the Friday Super Pro Gambler’s race during the Summer Bracket. At the season-ending Bracket Finals, Frank made the statement that ultimately sealed the championship, winning Saturday’s Super Pro Tour race over Kyle Jessup. Frank Angers is your 2026 King of the Tour, taking home $5,000 along with a all the goodies from Carlyle Tools.

#2 — KYLE JESSUP
Dragster | Renfrew, ON | 9,500 points | $2,500
2026 marked a return to championship-contending form for Kyle Jessup. The Renfrew, Ontario racer has been part of the Super Tour story since the very beginning, winning the Super Pro Championship in 2016, the inaugural season of the series. Ten years later, Jessup put together his best championship finish since placing fourth in 2020 and earned a spot in the year-end Top 12 for the sixth time in his career. Driving his 2002 Undercover Dragster, Kyle accumulated 9,500 points and remained in the championship fight right to the final weekend. He won the Saturday Super Pro Tour race at the Summer Bracket and added another Tour victory at the Fall Bracket. Jessup then reached the final against Frank Angers at the season-ending Bracket Finals, capping off an impressive comeback season with a second-place championship finish and a $2,500 payout.

#3 — SACHA LEBLANC
Footbrake | Valleyfield, QC | 9,400 points | $2,500
What a season for Sacha Leblanc. In his first full season with the Super Tour, the Valleyfield racer made an impressive run at the King of the Tour title, eventually finishing third overall with 9,400 points and as the highest-finishing Footbrake racer of 2026. Fairly new to the sport after moving up from the Junior ranks only a couple of years ago, Sacha quickly proved that he can compete with the best racers on the Tour. Driving his 2005 Honda Civic, he started the season with a huge 1,500-point performance and remained in championship contention all the way to the final weekend. His season included a Friday Footbrake Gambler’s win at the Summer Bracket and a Tour race win during the Fall Bracket. His breakout season also earns him the Pro1Safety.ca Most Improved Racer Award. Sacha will receive $2,000 for third overall, a $500 bonus as the highest-finishing Footbrake racer, and a set of Pro 1 Pro Elite Seat Belts for being named the Most Improved Racer of 2026.

#4 — DOMINIC GERMAIN
Footbrake | Napierville, QC | 9,300 points | $1,500
Only 100 points behind Leblanc came another incredibly strong Footbrake competitor, Dominic Germain. The Napierville racer drove his 1989 Ford Mustang GT to 9,300 points and fourth place overall. Germain’s season really came alive during the second half of the schedule. At the Bonanza, he captured the Saturday Footbrake Tour race, defeating Noémie Ballabey in the final, and at the Fall Bracket he did it again, this time defeating Pat Proulx for another Tour win. Those big performances helped propel Germain all the way to fourth in the King of the Tour standings and a $1,500 payout.

#5 — ANDRÉ BALLABEY
Door Car | St-Michel, QC | 9,200 points | $1,500
André Ballabey carried the Door Car banner all the way to fifth overall, finishing the championship with 9,200 points and earning the title of highest-finishing Door Car racer of the 2026 season. Ballabey wasted no time establishing himself as a championship contender, winning the opening Saturday Super Pro Tour race at the Spring Bracket. He remained a consistent threat throughout the season and produced several strong late-round performances. One of the most memorable moments came at the Summer Bracket, where André reached the final but came up short against his son Felix, making it an all-Ballabey family final. His combination of consistency and round wins kept him near the front of the standings throughout the year. André earns $1,000 for fifth overall plus a $500 bonus as the highest-finishing Door Car racer.

#6 — NOÉMIE BALLABEY
Footbrake | St-Michel, QC | 9,000 points | $500
Noémie Ballabey gave the Ballabey family a second racer inside the overall Top 12, completing an excellent season with 9,000 points in her 2005 Chevrolet Cobalt SS. Her season was defined by repeated deep runs. She reached the final of the Sunday Footbrake Tour race at the Spring Bracket, then continued to appear in the late rounds throughout the year. At the Bonanza she also won Thursday’s non-points Footbrake race before making additional late-round appearances in the Tour races that followed. Few racers were as consistently present in the important rounds during the middle of the season, helping Noémie secure sixth overall and $500.

#7 — BRANDON BARKER
Dragster | Smitts Falls, ON | 8,700 points | $450
Brandon Barker added another strong chapter to an already impressive Super Tour career in 2026. A regular among the series top competitors, Barker previously earned Top 12 finishes in 2017 and 2018, before placing two separate entries inside the Top 12 in 2019. More recently, he captured the 2024 Dragster Championship and followed it up by becoming the 2025 Overall Super Pro Champion.
The 2026 season brought a new challenge, as Brandon climbed behind the wheel of his father-in-law’s blown M&M Dragster. Stepping into a much quicker combination, Barker adapted extremely well and quickly found the consistency needed to remain a contender. His results extended well beyond the Super Tour, including an impressive trip to the final round of a major race in Michigan for a brand-new dragster chassis.
Back on the Tour, Brandon continued to deliver consistent results, collecting 8,700 points and finishing seventh overall. He also reached a major career milestone in 2026 with his 10th Super Tour race victory, further extending his position as the all-time leader in Super Tour race wins.

#8 — FRANÇOIS RONDEAU
Footbrake | Ste-Julie, QC | 8,100 points | $400
François Rondeau continued an impressive streak of consistency in 2026, finishing eighth overall with 8,100 points behind the wheel of his 1969 Chevy Camaro. This marks Rondeau’s fifth consecutive Top 12 finish, having finished among the Tour’s best Footbrake racers every season since 2022. That five-year streak has established François as one of the most consistent championship contenders in the Footbrake category.
His 2026 campaign featured several strong points races, including 1,100-, 1,300- and another 1,100-point performance over the course of the season. Rondeau also arrived at the season-ending Bracket Finals ready to race, capturing the Friday Footbrake Gambler’s win. While that win did not count toward the championship standings, it was another highlight in a solid season that ultimately earned François eighth overall, his fifth straight Top 12 appearance and a $400 championship payout.

#9 — CARL SOUCY
Dragster | Val-des-Monts, QC | 7,900 points | $350
The 2026 season was a breakthrough year for Carl Soucy, who earned his first career Top 12 finish since joining the Super Tour in 2019. Driving the Soucy & Chenier Dragster entry, Carl put together his best season on Tour, combining consistency throughout the schedule with one of the biggest performances of his Super Tour career.
The highlight came during the Bonanza, where Soucy captured the Friday Super Pro Tour victory, earning a huge 1,900-point race and giving his championship campaign a major boost. From there, he remained solid enough throughout the second half of the season to secure his place among the Tour’s best.
Soucy’s 7,900 points and ninth-place finish represent a new career high. His first Top 12 appearance makes 2026 a milestone season for Carl, earning him a $350 championship payout.

#10 – MARTIN LASSISERAYE
Footbrake | Québec City, QC | 7,801 points | $300
Another familiar name among the Super Tour’s top performers, Martin Lassiseraye is no stranger to championship success. The Québec City racer was crowned Super Tour Footbrake Champion in 2018, and his 2026 performance marks his sixth career Top 12 finish, further adding to an impressive résumé in the series.
Driving his 1987 Ford Mustang, Lassiseraye’s championship came down to the smallest possible margin. He finished with 7,801 points, placing him 10th overall. His single tie-breaker point proved decisive, putting him just ahead of Eric Monaghan’s 7,800-point total.
Lassiseraye was a regular presence in the late rounds throughout the season, including a runner-up finish in Sunday’s Footbrake Tour race during the Summer Bracket. He also reached the final of the Friday Gambler’s race at the season-ending Bracket Finals, where he finished runner-up to François Rondeau.
A former champion who continues to prove his competitiveness year after year, Lassiseraye’s season is another great example of why every round and every tie-breaker point matters. He closes out 2026 with his sixth career Top 12 appearance, a 10th-place championship finish and a $300 payout.

#11 — ERIC MONAGHAN
Footbrake | Valcartier, QC | 7,800 points | $250
Eric Monaghan returned to the upper end of the championship standings in 2026, putting together his best Super Tour season since 2022, when he finished fourth in the Footbrake standings. Driving his 1991 Ford Mustang, Monaghan accumulated 7,800 points and remained a strong contender throughout the 11-race schedule.
Eric enjoyed one of his strongest seasons in terms of trips to the winner’s circle, collecting three Tour wins in 2026. Those victories also pushed him across an important career milestone, as Monaghan is now one of only eight racers in Super Tour history to have accumulated five or more Tour race victories. His ability to turn strong weekends into wins played a major role in bringing him back into the Top 12.
Monaghan closes out an impressive 2026 campaign 11th overall with a $250 championship payout.

#12 — PHIL HARVEY
Dragster | St-Calixte, QC | 7,601 points | $200
For Phil Harvey, a 12th-place finish could almost be considered an unusual season considering the standard he has set since entering the sport. A former wild horse rider, Harvey made the transition to drag racing in 2022 and his impact was immediate. He captured the Super Pro Dragster Championship in his rookie season, followed by a third-place finish in 2023, eighth in 2024, and an incredible two entries inside the Top 12 last season, finishing third and seventh.
Ironically, 2026 represents Harvey’s lowest championship finish since he began racing, and technically his first full Super Tour season without a Tour race victory. He came close on several occasions, including a runner-up finish at the Bonanza. Harvey also reached the All-Star Shootout final, where he and Fred Angers elected to split and quit.
Even in what qualifies as an off-year by his own remarkably high standards, Harvey still found a way to finish among the Top 12 for a fifth consecutive season. His 7,601 points, including the tie-breaker point, secured the final Top 12 position, extending an impressive streak that has seen Harvey finish among the Tour’s best every year since entering drag racing in 2022.

MAVRICK ANGERS — REDEMPTION COMPLETE
After coming so close one year ago, Mavrick Angers came back in 2026 with unfinished business. Following a second-place championship finish in 2025, Mavrick turned that disappointment into motivation and put together the consistency needed to capture the 2026 Super Tour Junior Championship.
Mavrick finished the 11-race season with 8,500 points, defeating Emy Roberge by 500 points for the championship. His season was built on consistency from beginning to end: he scored points in every race and entered the final weekend still needing to finish the job. One of the biggest moments of his season came during the Bonanza, where he captured the Junior All-Star race and later added another win during the same weekend. He then delivered again at the Fall Bracket, winning Sunday’s race as the championship battle entered its final stretch. At the Bracket Finals, Mavrick reached the final round on Saturday, adding another important late-round performance to secure the title.
There is also a special family story behind this championship. With Frank Angers winning the 2026 King of the Tour Championship and Mavrick capturing the Junior Championship, father and son finish the season as Super Tour champions together.
THE CHAMPIONSHIP TOP 6
Behind Mavrick, Emy Roberge put together an outstanding championship run of her own, finishing second with 8,000 points, only 500 behind the champion. Roberge was particularly strong late in the season and captured wins during the Bonanza and at the season-ending Bracket Finals.
Logan Angers finished third with 7,300 points. Logan’s season included a win at the Summer Bracket and several other strong late-round performances.
Hayley Angers made it three Angers racers inside the Top 4, finishing fourth with 6,200 points. Her biggest moment came at the Fall Bracket, where she captured Saturday’s Junior race.
Julia Malcolm finished fifth with 6,000 points, while Remy Levasseur completed the championship Top 6 with 5,900 points, only 100 points behind Malcolm.

A CHAMPIONSHIP WORTH CELEBRATING
The 2026 season once again showed just how competitive the Super Tour has become. Across the championship schedule, 16 different racers found their way to a Tour Race Winner’s Circle, including six first-time Super Tour winners. Only three racers managed to win more than once during the season, showing just how difficult it was to repeat in 2026.
In Super Pro, Kyle Jessup led the way with two Tour victories, while André Ballabey, Brandon Barker, Felix Ballabey, Carl Soucy, Jamie Bridge, Terry Miron, Jamie Clarmo and Frank Angers each celebrated a Tour win.
Footbrake saw Eric Monaghan lead all racers with three Tour victories, while Dominic Germain was another multiple winner with two. Yves Poirier, Frank Mastro, Dan Allard, Pat Alarie and Sacha Leblanc also visited the Winner’s Circle during the season.
The racing didn’t stop with the championship rounds. The Super Tour’s non-points Gambler’s races produced plenty of memorable moments of their own. Super Pro Gambler’s winners included Mike Chenier, Frank Angers, Fred Angers, Cody Levasseur, Nathan Parkhurst and Landyn Urslak, while Robert Patry, Sacha Leblanc, Noémie Ballabey, Ashley Muttart, François Rondeau and Ghislain Lebalue collected Footbrake Gambler’s victories.
Congratulations to all of our 2026 Super Tour race winners and Gambler’s race winners, to our championship Top 12, and of course to Frank Angers, your 2026 King of the Tour!
