NEW WINNERS AND DOMINANT FIGURES AT THE SUPER TOUR IN 2023

The eighth season of activities at the Bracket Super Tour has crowned ten new winners and seven repeat winners during the four race weekends held at Napierville Dragway and Luskville Dragway.

Among the new winners, notable performances include those of women this season, with Chantal Grenier securing two victories in the Pro category, along with Laura Shephard, Becky Gauthier, and Pam Rennie, all making it to the winner’s circle during the season.

MIKE REYNOLDS, THE RACER WITH THE MOST WINS

By adding two wins to his record this season, Mike Reynolds from Hunt Club Park, Ontario, now stands alone at the top of the leaderboard for the most Super Tour wins, boasting a total of eight in just 5 seasons of competition.

Phil Harvey from Saint-Calixte joins the exclusive club of only seven racers with four Super Tour victories or more, thanks to his two wins in 2023.

DALE GAUTHIER AND STEPHEN BALLANTYNE, THE RACERS WITH THE MOST POINTS

For the second consecutive year, Dale Gauthier from Belleville, Ontario, holds the highest cumulative points total over eight years, with a total of 43,600 points. The twins Frank and Fred Angers are in second and third positions.

In the Top 10, notable presence includes former national champions Kyle Jessup, Terry Miron, and Adam Bitzanis, as well as familiar names in the late rounds such as Daniel Lanctot, Russ Adams, Roch Beaudoin, and Mike Chenier.

In the Pro category, Stephen Ballantyne leads the pack. Despite not yet securing a national title, the Gatineau racer has accumulated 38,230 points. Fellow racers from the Quebec’s National Capital Region, Martin Lassiseraye and Eric Monaghan, are closely behind, followed by regulars in the Super Tour racers.
