With the CARLYLE TOOLS Bracket Bonanza now in the books, the first leg of the 2026 King of the Tour Championship is officially complete, and one name stands above the rest: NOÉMIE BALLABEY.
Behind the wheel of her white Cobalt in the Footbrake category, Noémie led the championship standings following the opening double-header of the season. Her father, André Ballabey, then took over the top spot after a stellar performance during the second weekend of competition.
But at the Bonanza, Noémie came back in a big way. Ballabey collected an impressive 3,200 points over the three championship races, bringing her season total to 7,300 points and putting her back at the top of the King of the Tour standings.
There was plenty of movement throughout the Top 10, with several new names making major jumps on the leaderboard.
Frank Angers scored more points than anyone else during the three Bonanza championship races, collecting a massive 3,900 points and jumping all the way from 16th to 2nd place with his dragster.
In third, Sacha Leblanc continues to impress during his first full season with the Super Tour, gaining another position in the standings.
Fresh off a recent race win, Carl Soucy makes his way into the Top 10 in a big way, climbing from 11th to 4th place.
Previous championship leader André Ballabey drops from first to fifth following a difficult weekend at Luskville.
One of the biggest movers of the Bonanza was François Rondeau, who gained an incredible 17 positions. Rondeau entered the weekend ranked 23rd and leaves Luskville sitting all the way up in 6th place.
Quebec City heavy hitter Martin Lassiseraye slips two positions to seventh, while former Super Tour Champion Phil Harvey makes a huge move of his own, gaining 10 positions to take over 8th place.
Dominic Germain moves up one spot into ninth, while former Super Tour Champion Kyle Jessup rounds out the Top 10.
The championship now enters the second half of the 2026 season with the Fall Bracket Showdown at Luskville, before returning to Napierville to close out the year at the Canadian Bracket Finals.
With four championship races remaining, there is still plenty of racing left and a lot can change. Every racer registered for the King of the Tour Championship still has an opportunity to make a run at the Top 10.
Over the next month, we will find out who can rise to the occasion when the pressure is at its highest.
